Me and my friends had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Stephanie went above and beyond with her service, even though she was the only server managing multiple tables. The food was great, and the prices were fair for the quality we received. Definitely recommend checking this place out!
A1 served the best take out pizza and garlic fingers. For a large pizza and garlic fingers, plus a small gluten free pizza and small gluten free garlic fingers it cost about $100 and fed 5 of us. Apparently they had daily specials that we didn't know about, so maybe that number would have been lower if they had told us about the specials when we called in the order. They deliver to campsites and offer debit at the door, even to the campground!
Waterview Restaurant is a Pictou institution, if you’re in the area you really have to visit! His fish and chips are excellent and his pizza is superb! And he has the best desserts! Great portions and reasonable prices with friendly service. The new patio is a great place to unwind. We’ve eaten here a few times and we’ve never been disappointed.
Anyone looking to order out, and i've ordered out food in the USA and Canada and A1 is at the top of my list. Sometimes ordering from a new place you don't know what the quality will be like.
Erin was an amazing server! She was so much fun ! It made our experience very enjoyable. We ordered the pizza. It was very good. Next time we will remember to ask for extra sauce on the pizza!
The beautiful streets of a quaint seaside town are now home to a new family, and they did not
come empty-handed. With them, they brought 30-year-old pizza recipes that can only be described
as “A1”.
Sammy and Bernadette Haydar, as well as the rest of their family recently came to town to open
their newest pizza project, A1 Pizza Pub & Grill in downtown historic Pictou, NS.
The restaurant is operated by Sammy, Bernadette, and their three kids Andrew, Samantha, and
Mitchell. As well as their family friends Amber and Brad and locally hired staff.
Fun Fact — Sammy was the mastermind behind the highly successful A1 Pizza
in Port Hawkesbury that opened in 1998 and continues to run today.
